Easy to Recommend State Park Trails in Wisconsin

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

We lean toward the humble here in the Badger State, but there are a few things we can’t help but boast about and our state park trails system is one of them. If you’re looking for a recommendation, give the 98-mile multi-use Gandy Dancer Trail a go. It crosses the Wisconsin/Minnesota border twice on its way from St. Croix Falls to Superior. A highlight is the 520-foot bridge over the scenic St. Croix River. B&Bs in the area include the St. Croix River Inn in Osceola, Wissahickon Farms Country Inn in St. Croix Falls and Smoland Prairie Homestead Inn in Grantsburg. Happy hiking.

Once you select the course, search for a B&B by city by clicking this link. For the die-hard golfer what could be better than waking up to a great cup of coffee and a energy-boosting breakfast followed by a round of 18.
