A B&B Food Idea That Is Not About Breakfast

This month we're changing things up a bit at the Wisconsin B&B Association by putting the food focus on something other than breakfast. Could it be true, you ask? Yes, simply because July is National Picnic Month and several dozen of our member inns offer picnics as an add-on. By the way, the weather has been splendid, with warm temperatures arriving right on cue for picnicking pursuits.

The Allure of Food at Wisconsin B&Bs

Owners of Wisconsin B&Bs are certain of one thing - never underestimate the allure of good food in making a getaway really special. For foodies, it's the deal-maker for where they choose to stay. For the rest of the traveling public, it's the pleasant surprise that keeps them coming back. The Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association is already thick into planning for its 2011 recipe cook-off (secret ingredient has to remain secret for a while longer), so it seemed like a good time to direct you to the winning recipes of the past few years. Sure, you can make these at home, but there's something wonderful about waking up to an incredibly delicious breakfast served to you. We pick the latter! As a little aside, July is National Picnic Month. These inns offer picnic lunches as an add-on - another tasty option!
