  • International Ski Jump

2010 Dates - February 5 and 6; Friday/Saturday. It is a tradition that has gone on since 1923, and has put Westby on the international ski jump map. “I think it has given Westby some recognition and identity,” said Dr. P.T. Bland, who has been a major supporter of the annual event for more than three decades. “Skiers come from 10-15 countries. Since the event has been a Continental Cup competition, we get skiers who are just one notch away from World Cup status and possible Olympians. We have Olympic medal winners jump here.” For an article on this event, go to http://www.oldschoolcollectibles.com/articles/article2.html. Located just 1/2 mile North of Westby on County Road P. Gates open 11:00 a.m. each day. Visit www.snowflakeskiclub.com for more information.
