Courthouse Square Bed and Breakfast

Guests frequently comment on the serene peace and quiet beauty of the location, with a multitude of fragrant gardens and the pastoral lake inviting you to sit with a cup of coffee or tea and unwind. Savor our four course gourmet breakfasts in a "garden" year 'round.  Our dining room features a panoramic watercolor mural with cottage garden flowers, toparies. and a rose arbor so realistic you can almost smell the roses.
As we start our 19th year in business, it's obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into the touches that make this place special.  Fresh flowers in rooms, bath amenities you might have forgotten, homemade biscotti with morning coffee and tea, and the  attention to special dietary needs, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, and vegetarian menus are unique and appealing.
We are conveniently located for business travellers, we are the county seat and the courthouse is right across the street.  We serve breakfast for the business traveller's convenience.
Forest County has no traffic lights or fast food restaurants.  What it does have is miles of trails, out-of-the-way supper clubs and the Nicolet National Forest.  It is truly a place where time stands still.  So if you yearn for that peace and quiet, our door is open!

Funny Videos on Why B&Bs Are a Better Way to Stay – Part 1 02/09/2012 If you’re a loyal Wisconsin B&B traveler, you already have your reasons for choosing inns over hotels.  Like quiet ambience, free wi-fi, gourmet breakfast, luxury linens, big screen TVs, connection to local history and culture, and friendly innkeepers.  But for the rest of the traveling public who’ve not yet crossed...

Newly Built B&Bs Do Exist in Wisconsin 02/02/2012 There’s a long-standing myth the B&B industry can’t seem to shake and it’s that all inns are Victorian with antiques and doilies everywhere.  It’s just not so.  Styles of architecture among B&Bs in Wisconsin run from historic mansions to lakeside cabins to ultra-contemporary new builds.  Let’s focus on that last...

Wisconsin B&Bs for Business Travelers 01/31/2012 A Wisconsin B&B may not be the first type of lodging that comes to mind when planning a business trip, but give it a try.  Lots of inns offer corporate rates and even have meeting rooms right on premise.  Other reasons to stay at a B&B for business?  It’s quiet,...
