Crystal River Inn Bed and Breakfast

Nestled in the historic village of Rural on the bank of the Crystal River is our 1853 farmstead. The Crystal River Inn is a welcoming place for all to feel at home. We are Travel Green Wisconsin Certified and brew only organic, fair traded coffee and offer selection of organic, fair trade teas. We serve food from our garden, harvest local wild fruit and make all our jellies and jams, purchase local food and services. We delight in catering to special diets, particularly gluten free and vegetarian. Walk the labyrinth on our upper land where we are restoring prairie - grass in the summer and snowpacked in the winter. Come any time of the year and enjoy rest and refreshment of body, mind and spirit!

Funny Videos on Why B&Bs Are a Better Way to Stay – Part 1 02/09/2012 If you’re a loyal Wisconsin B&B traveler, you already have your reasons for choosing inns over hotels.  Like quiet ambience, free wi-fi, gourmet breakfast, luxury linens, big screen TVs, connection to local history and culture, and friendly innkeepers.  But for the rest of the traveling public who’ve not yet crossed...

Newly Built B&Bs Do Exist in Wisconsin 02/02/2012 There’s a long-standing myth the B&B industry can’t seem to shake and it’s that all inns are Victorian with antiques and doilies everywhere.  It’s just not so.  Styles of architecture among B&Bs in Wisconsin run from historic mansions to lakeside cabins to ultra-contemporary new builds.  Let’s focus on that last...
