Ellison's Gray Lion Inn

Our home was originally built as a wedding gift in 1898. We have four comfortable guest rooms, each offering an attached private bath and shower.  Our living area contains a sitting room, television room and a dining area.

Each morning we offer a full breakfast and for those early risers, we also offer early morning coffee and tea. Later on in the day you'll be able to choose from a variety of Princeton's fine dining restaurants.

Within walking distance there are numerous specialty shops, antique stores, and Wisconsin’s largest weekly outdoor Flea Market.

For the adventurous type, you can stay active by golfing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, biking and more.

Green Lake - 8 miles
Wisconsin Dells - 35 miles
Oshkosh (EAA) - 40 miles

Our home is centrally located to all activities in Princeton.  Park your car and plan to travel by foot to experience the charm of this town.

There are many day trips just a short drive away.

Wisconsin B&Bs for Business Travelers 01/31/2012 A Wisconsin B&B may not be the first type of lodging that comes to mind when planning a business trip, but give it a try.  Lots of inns offer corporate rates and even have meeting rooms right on premise.  Other reasons to stay at a B&B for business?  It’s quiet,...

Warm Up with Soup (and Grilled Cheese) 01/25/2012 Some might call it a classic combination – tomato soup and grilled cheese.  Of course, with it being Wisconsin, we always suggest making the sandwich using an artisan cheese.  Download the brochure of artisan cheese varieties and think about pairing two or three cheeses.  Then whip up this recipe for...
