Innkeepers, Jim and Kathleen Fleming, welcome you to their 1861 Second Empire home where they are dedicated to providing excellence in comfort and personal service. Situated on Main Street, a block from the downtown district of Whitewater, Wisconsin. The perfect getaway just to breathe and unwind awaits you.

Seven of our eight guest rooms feature a whirlpool and or fireplace. Private bath, down bedding, and luxurious linens await your arrival. In the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in your room. A full breakfast will be served in the formal dining room by firelight. Refreshments and nightcaps are available throughout the day. A Refreshment center stocked with beverages and munchies is conveniently located in the guest area. The Refreshment center features a microwave and refrigerator accessible to guests at all times. Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and beverages as space in the refrigerator has been set aside for your use.

Enjoy the convenience of personal Concierge services. Forgot something, just ask. We are happy to make dinner reservations for you or arrange for dinner to be ordered in. We can assist in making arrangements for activities in the area.

Sun filled parlors provide a relaxing retreat for reading, playing parlor games, or conversation by the fireplaces. Enjoy quiet time together as a couple on the Gazebo porch. Soak up the sun during a game of Bocce Ball or Crockett. Swing away the cares of everyday life in the shade of the back garden.

Just bring your clothes and a bottle of wine. Relax and unwind as the innkeepers take care of the details. Rooms are complete with Shampoo, soap, candles, and CD player. For your convenience we have made available: Tea, coffee, and soda; Popcorn and munchies; Wineglasses, openers and stoppers; Picnic baskets and mugs; Hair dryer, iron, and ironing board; Books, games and music.

Walk to downtown shops and restaurants or stroll along our neighborhood streets as you admire the diverse architecture of historical buildings. Enjoy a picnic during a concert at the lakefront park. Drive a short distance to a variety of entertainment and shopping options. Whether you like the excitement of mountain biking or the tranquility of sun bathing, you can discover a wide range of outdoor activities near by.

We endeavor to see that the details have thoughtfully been attended to. If we can do something to make your stay more comfortable, just ask. We will make every effort to accommodate all requests. Your imagination is the limit.

Options available for an additional fee: Add an extra touch to your stay with our Special Occasion embellishments: Sparkling beverage with glasses. Basket of late night snacks, customized gift basket, romantic picnic, in room dinner, in room breakfast, in room massage, extended departure time, early arrival time, meeting space, event space. One week's notice is requested to arrange for these services.

Weddings and Special events: Looking for a special setting for your special event or for guest rooms for your preferred family and friends. The Hamilton House Parlors and Formal dinning rooms are the perfect spaces to host your bridal party tea, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or wedding ceremony or wedding reception. Hamilton House can host Groups of up to 25 for sit down or 50 for gourmet appetizers. Call for appointment and pricing. All guest rooms and common areas are pictured on our web site. Rates are based on a 2-day booking for the Bed & Breakfast and grounds. We can provide extra amenities on a cost plus service charge basis. We can also help you find the following services in the area: Florist, Caterer, Wedding Cake, Photographer, Musicians, Afficiant, Larger Banquet Facilities, Manicurist, and Hair Stylist.

Group Reservations: Do you have a lot of out of town guest coming in for the festivities surrounding your wedding or family reunion? This is a great place for your friends and family to stay, allowing them the comfort of home to relax and visit between engagements for the scheduled events. Also great location and space for girls get away or group of friends that would enjoy a weekend together, but still appreciate the privacy of private baths and large guest rooms.

Honeymoon package: two night stay in the Degas room, in room breakfast for the bride the morning of the wedding, in room massage for the bride the morning of the wedding, fresh flowers, late night champagne picnic for two after the reception, private table for breakfast.

During your stay at the Hamilton House Bed and Breakfast, feel free to host small business meetings in the Common areas. The dinning room is available for private meetings of up to 20 people. DSL, whiteboard, water, pens and paper provided for the convenience of your associates.

We have made several exceptions to our standard policies for the ease of our business travelers. Including: accepting American Express and a 24-hour cancellation policy Sunday – Thursday.

Location: Conveniently located two hours from Chicago, one hour from Madison and Milwaukee, and 30 minutes from Lake Geneva.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations are confirmed with a deposit of first night’s fees payable via cash or credit card. General Cancellations require a 10-day notice, 14 days for holidays, July, August and October. Deposit will be refunded, less $25 processing fee, for cancellations prior to the 10 days. Cancellations made after the 10 days will forfeit deposit. Cancellations made 24 hours prior to arrival are subject to full charges of reservations.

No refunds will be made for no shows or early checkouts and will be subject to full charges of reservation.

Voicemail and email cancellations will not be accepted. Please speak directly to innkeeper to insure proper communication of plans to cancel reservations. Cancellation number will be issued to verify cancellation was processed.

Other: Smoke free. Pet free. Children age 15 welcome. No age restriction for whole house reservation.
