Memorable full breakfasts are served in the beautiful dining room by candlelight in winter or on the wicker veranda in nice weather. You can also have a deluxe continental breakfast basket delivered to your room. Deluxe whirlpools, body jet showers, fireplaces, WIFI, TV/VCR's, CD players, huge video library, chocolates on the pillow, luxury robes and linens, down comforters and feather beds, are just a few of our great amenities!

One of the owners, Fred, a master plumber and certified remodeler, put only the finest fixtures, whirlpools and faucets in the new bathrooms and guest rooms. And the other owner, Barb, a superb cook and baker, has won several blue ribbons for her baking at the Wisconsin State Fair.

We are only blocks from Horicon Marsh, the birding mecca of the midwest! So whether you are canoeing or birding at the Horicon Marsh, hiking or biking the Wild Goose State Trail, skiing down the slopes, or shopping at the nearby huge antique mall, there is something here for everyone.

Our rooms are large, comfortable, spotless and beautifully appointed with the finest amenities. You won't find a better breakfast anywhere in the state! Honeybee Inn is just 45 minutes from Milwaukee, Madison and Oshkosh. 30 minutes from Fond du Lac and West Bend, 10 minutes from Beaver Dam, and 5 minutes from Mayville. Our new inn puppy, Rocky a Cockapoo, is waiting to greet you. He is non shedding and hypo-allergenic. Rocky is never allowed in guest rooms or the dining room, but you can pet him outside if you wish.

Beautiful, long stemmed roses in your room, Gourmet Chocolates, bottle of regular or non-alcoholic wine, gourmet breakfast for two each morning.

Peddle or Paddle the Marsh - $35-$89
Peddle or Paddle the Marsh! Bike the scenic Horicon Marsh! Different maps for 3 different trails. Bring your own bikes and helmets or use ours! Package includes all maps, a gourmet picnic lunch consisting of: 2 deluxe turkey sandwiches on whole grain bread, 2 bags of chips, 2 pasta salads, 2 fruit, 4 cookies and 2 bottles of water. If you prefer, we can arrange a canoe or kayak package instead. Lunches are packed to fit on the back of your bike or in your canoe or kayak. 2011 - Package prices: With our bikes and helmets - $89.00. Gourmet lunch only - $35.00. Two-person canoe - $60.00. Two single kayaks - $85.00. Tandem kayaks - $75.00. Room is not included in prices listed above.

Birds and Bees - 139 plus room cost
May through October One hour tour for two on pontoon boat of the famous Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Area by Blue Heron Landing in Horicon (may be changed to two hour birding tour on weekends only, May through September, for additional fee of $19.00). �Wonderful dinner for two at elegant local restaurant. �Gourmet breakfast each morning. �Wisconsin Birding Book. �Chocolate covered strawberries. �$139 plus room cost.

Horicon Marsh Sunset Cruise - 45
Horicon Marsh Sunset Cruises July, August, and September. What could be more special than staying at Honeybee Inn? How about adding a sunset cruise along with your bed and breakfast stay? Snuggle under your blanket while your boat meanders up the Rock River into the Horicon Marsh at the romantic time of sunset. Enjoy a beverage and cheese gathering before your boat drifts away from the pier at Horicon Marsh Boat Tours. Your guide Marc will set the mood for you as he points out melodic song birds and other creatures of the marsh who reside in this natural wonderland. Your package includes a cruise for two (beverage, snacks and blanket if needed!), chocolate covered strawberries in your room upon your return, and a full gourmet breakfast the following morning. Saturday evenings in July, August and September. Starting times vary according to sunset time. Advance reservations required. $45 per couple plus room cost.


Cancellation Policy

Because we are a small inn, cancellations affect us significantly. If you need to change or cancel please do so at least 10 days (60 days for special events) before arrival and we will refund your deposit, less a $25 processing fee per night, per room. Cancellations within 10 days (or 60 days for special events) owe the full amount of the reservation, unless we can rebook the room. Sorry, no exceptions. If you are concerned about the possibilities of late cancellation you may wish to purchase travel insurance.
