You will enjoy your 'On the Lake Getaway' at our Madison WI bed and breakfast in Cambridge, the only area lake front B & B. This southern Wisconsin lake lodge is a historic Inn located just 20 minutes east of downtown Madison, 50 minutes from Milwaukee, and 2 hours from Chicago. Experience a serene retreat on beautiful Lake Ripley and breakfasts on the 1200 sq. foot lake front Grand Porch or by the flickering fire. Escape to the old-fashioned porch swing at this Inn with a lakefront luxury feel boasting whirlpools, privacy, fireplaces, swimming, fishing and boats.
Our TRAVEL GREEN CERTIFIED all season’s getaway is located on a Wisconsin swim, fish, ski boat lake near a state bike trail, golf, hike/ski park, Fireside Dinner Theater, and microbrewery. The Inn is about 1 mile to historic Cambridge with unique shops, pottery, antiques, galleries, and eateries.
THE SETTING: Experience the tranquility of a glistening lake, towering pine trees, golden maples and romantic sunsets as you drift into a 'By Gone Era'. Spend the day boating, fishing, skiing, and swimming on our lakefront private pier with boats on a 450-acre spring fed lake.
