Lawson on the front area of an original 48 acre - 1850's fully working farm In 1914 Hales Corners was turning from a rural farming community to a center of commerce. The Hime is now decorated in it's original Mission Style with many Arts & Crafts highlights. This charming remembrance of a time gone by with all of it's beautiful woodwork, crown moldings and original doors & windows gives you the opportunity to relax in the living room by the large brick fireplace, walk around the original 1850's Farm House, Milk House & Summer Kitchen or just enjoy the privacy of your own bedroom. We are located just 15 minutes Southwest of downtown Milwaukee and it's many Summer Ethnic Festivals, the Milwaukee Art Museum with it's nationally recognized Calatrava design and countless other downtown attractions. We are just 10 minutes from the enclosed Milwaukee Brewer's stadium and the Milwaukee County Zoo.The Lawson House is also close to many Historic destinations, all types of shopping, golf courses, dining of all levels and Whitnall park - "the Crown Jewel of the Milwaukee County park system" - with it's Botanical Gardens & Nature center. As common areas we have a large living room with a beautiful Mission style brick fireplace, game table, many seating areas and a dining room with French doors looking out to the yard. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor all appropriately decorated for there names - The Prairie Room, The New York Room & The Sled Room.
