Rochester Inn

The Rochester Inn, a historic hotel, has been in business for over 21 years.  This completely restored building was built in 1848, the same year Wisconsin became a state and is the 2nd oldest building in Sheboygan County.  Our building was the first general store and post office in our county.

Upon renovation in 1988 we pondered room size and locations since we started with 4 exterior walls.  The possibilities were endless.  With an eye towards uncompromising quality and guest satisfaction, unique two story suites were decided upon.   Super spacious 600 square foot rooms were designed with Kohler Whirlpools, wool bordered carpets, stiffel lamps, and fine cherry furnishings.  Our unique two story rooms has become our signature.

Our six rooms inn offers you privacy, a fantastic in-room full breakfast, and a chance to get re-charged in your busy life.

Discover historic Sheboygan Falls.  Located just one hour north of Miwaukee, this former "Mainstreet" community boasts small town pride.  Walk downtown to one of many local restaurants, shop the local dime store, stop at the coffee shop, or enjoy the river walk along the river that meanders through town.  You will adore the nostolgic nature of this town.
We invite you to puruse our special packages.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Newly Built B&Bs Do Exist in Wisconsin 02/02/2012 There’s a long-standing myth the B&B industry can’t seem to shake and it’s that all inns are Victorian with antiques and doilies everywhere.  It’s just not so.  Styles of architecture among B&Bs in Wisconsin run from historic mansions to lakeside cabins to ultra-contemporary new builds.  Let’s focus on that last...

Wisconsin B&Bs for Business Travelers 01/31/2012 A Wisconsin B&B may not be the first type of lodging that comes to mind when planning a business trip, but give it a try.  Lots of inns offer corporate rates and even have meeting rooms right on premise.  Other reasons to stay at a B&B for business?  It’s quiet,...

Warm Up with Soup (and Grilled Cheese) 01/25/2012 Some might call it a classic combination – tomato soup and grilled cheese.  Of course, with it being Wisconsin, we always suggest making the sandwich using an artisan cheese.  Download the brochure of artisan cheese varieties and think about pairing two or three cheeses.  Then whip up this recipe for...
