WE INVITE YOU TO.......
Rest in your own private retreat, all with private baths and distinctive Antique decore.
Enjoy each room's unique charm, King or Queen beds filled with mountains of pillows.
Partake in Elsie and Jack's crystal and linen presentation of their four course breakfast, that makes waking up a pleasure.
Relax by enjoying and evening visiting, reading, or playing games on the four season porch filled with wonderful wicker.
Return to an era of romance and elegance. Let us take you back in more detail as to why this is one of Wisconsin's most elegant and historical homes.
We searched the United States for the perfect home. It had to be historic, it needed to be a style to suit our large collection of antiques, and it had to be in a good location that would attract guests.
This beautiful Italinate Victorian home with its' 12 ft. ceilings on the first floorand 11 ft. ceilings in the 2nd floor bedrooms. The twinkling lights of crystal chandeliers fill the generous rooms with elegance and charm. This magnificent home has beautiful oak floors with oriental rugs adding to the beauty throughout the home. The antique furniture was carefully chosen for each room along with the accessories. The decor makes the home step back in time to the opulence of the Victorian period.
We like to think of our home as Comfortably Elegant and invite all to come stay and enjoy the experience of a time when things were much less complicated. You will want to tell your friends of your experience. Bring them with you on your next visit.

Two More B&B Myths to Dispel 02.10.2010
Time to dispel a B&B myth or two.  First, there’s this notion that innkeepers hover. Not true. They are there when you need them, but otherwise keep busy behind the scenes while respecting your privacy. Just like the best five-star hotels. Myth #2: You have to eat breakfast at a communal table. The answer in many cases is no.  Some [...]

Performing Arts Season Is Music To B&Bers Ears 02.10.2010
Seems some of our innkeepers believe in the sound of music to soothe the weary traveler.  There’s a Jazz Brunch at Fountain Chateau B&B in Hustler.  A regular sing-along to benefit local charities at the Audubon Inn in Mayville.  And on-site concerts at the Parsonage B&B in Madison and Tufts’ Mansion in Neillsville. In Green [...]

Winners of 2009 Wisconsin B&B Recipe Cook-off 01.11.2010
A comfortable bed is just half of the B&B promise.  The other half is food!  The end of the year brought the second annual Wisconsin B&B cook-off with innkeepers around the state competing for bragging rights.  This year’s featured ingredient was wild rice.  Did you know it’s a grain and tastes incredibly good in both [...]
