Victorian Gardens B&B

Wilkommen to our eclectic Victorian home built in the 1880's. Special attention was given in the original design pattern called "log cabin" of the oak flooring through out the downstairs floors. When visiting us in the fall/winter enjoy the warmth of our fireplace in our Victorian parlor. Plus, enjoy our antique doll and Teddy Bear collection along with a house full of antiques. A unique feature of the house are the wrap around porches which will add pleasure to your outdoor dining at breakfast or just sipping on a lemonade while relaxing and enjoying the Victorian Gardens with its brilliant array of colors. Three guest bedrooms await you. The White Lace and Roses Room, over looking the Victorian Gardens, has a queen sized bed, and a large Victorian bathroom with claw foot tub, and a shower for two. The Rose Bud Room, with a queen-sized bed, overlooks the 3-tiered Italian fountain. The adjacent bathroom has a marble antique sink and shower. The Ivy Room is a quiet corner room with an antique Victorian full size bed. We are open year round. A full breakfast is served on the weekends and a continental plus breakfast is served on weekdays. Come and stay and be our guests--the pleasure is all ours!

Just like the best five-star hotels. Myth #2: You have to eat breakfast at a communal table. The answer in many cases is no.  Some [...]

Performing Arts Season Is Music To B&Bers Ears 02.10.2010
Seems some of our innkeepers believe in the sound of music to soothe the weary traveler.  There’s a Jazz Brunch at Fountain Chateau B&B in Hustler.  A regular sing-along to benefit local charities at the Audubon Inn in Mayville.  And on-site concerts at the Parsonage B&B in Madison and Tufts’ Mansion in Neillsville. In Green [...]

Winners of 2009 Wisconsin B&B Recipe Cook-off 01.11.2010
A comfortable bed is just half of the B&B promise.  The other half is food!  The end of the year brought the second annual Wisconsin B&B cook-off with innkeepers around the state competing for bragging rights.  This year’s featured ingredient was wild rice.  Did you know it’s a grain and tastes incredibly good in both [...]
