Victorian Rose Bed & Breakfast

Built in 1897 by local lumber baron John Young, this beautiful Victorian Mansion is the crown jewel of Muscoda. A small but vibrant community located on the Wisconsin River in beautiful Southwest Wisconsin. The area features year around recreational opportunities that include canoeing, bicycling, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing. There are numerous craft shows, antique galleries and other festivals to delight you. The area is also a favorite with motorcycle riders who love to travel the beautiful highways along the Wisconsin River or just explore the many roads that wind through the magnificent hills of the area.

The house features a grand open staircase, hard-wood floors of oak, walnut and maple. There are pocket doors, beveled crystal windows and hand-carved entrance doors. In winter, guests enjoy breakfast by a cozy fire in the formal dining room. In summer, the morning meal is served outside on the half-moon deck.

The mansion is decorated in period style. The American Beauty Room and the Peace Rose Room have their own in-room baths. The American Beauty guests can enjoy a shower for two. The Rambling Rose suite features an unattached private bath. This bath includes a jacuzzi tub, pedestal sinks and shower. Robes are provided. The Suite can sleep 4 and is a perfect get-a-way for fun or total relaxation.
