Walking Iron Bed and Breakfast

Nestled among the scenic bluffs and rolling farmland of beautiful southwestern Wisconsin, and just 25 minutes from the state capital city of Madison, Walking Iron Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located to many area attractions.  Spring Green, American Players Theater, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, the House on the Rock, and Wisconsin River, are just a few of the unique places to visit.  If you want to sit back and relax, Walking Iron offers the perfect setting!  Take refuge on the covered wrap around porch as you listen to the fountain and birds, or take a stroll by the stream that winds through the property.  You can also just unwind in your room in the double whirlpool and then snuggle in the soft cotton robes provided and watch a movie- all in the privacy of your room!  Walking Iron truly has something for everyone!
To add to that relaxation and pampering, Walking Iron provides Massage services on site in the Walking Iron Spa.  The spa area has two full baths, water cooler, and a four person sauna.
Mazomanie, though small, has a lot to offer our guests.  The Old Feed Mill, Whistle Stop Cafe, The Wall Street Gallery and Bistro, and A Better Buzz Coffee Shop offer some great eating!  Add all the great Art Galleries, The Finer Taste wine bar, and Walter's General Store and you have a great small town experience!
Walking Iron offers a full breakfast every morning. Breakfasts consist of baked goods, a main dish of french toast baked in honey, butter and pecans, or baked oven omelette, lots of fruit, coffee, tea, and orange juice. The food is plentiful along with the great conversation!
