Willow Pond Bed, Breakfast and Events

Located halfway between Appleton and Steven's Point, just 5 miles north of Weyauwega, WI, a masterpiece of nature awaits your visit. Take a walk in the spectacular gardens, relax by the pond and waterfalls, breath in the fresh air of the country.

Hosted by Joe & Renee Wyngaard, Willow Pond offers a variety of services, from Bed & Breakfast at the farmhouse to Weddings, Receptions and other Special Events.

The farmhouse, built in 1901, has been a showcase for Renee's antique furniture collection. Recently, Joe & Renee took on the task of restoring the home to it's original design.

Wanting to make the farmhouse available for the public to view and provide a place for people in the area to stay, Joe & Renee decided to make five of these rooms available for the public to rent.

With more people wanting to hold their special events at Willow Pond, Joe & Renee decided to provide additional services such as event planning and receptions.

There are many locations on the twelve acres at Willow Pond to hold your reception or other celebration.

From tea parties out in the garden to receptions by the pond and waterfalls, we can put up a tent and you can have your event, rain or shine.

If you choose to have your party indoors, the reception room in the barn is also available for your group.

Musings on Fishing, Food and Father’s Day 05/18/2012 Fishing season is officially underway in Wisconsin, which is music to anglers’ ears.  If you’d like to give the sport a try, take advantage of the free statewide fishing weekend June 2-3.   Then, if you’re hooked, purchase a fishing license online.   Just for fun, we did a search for B&Bs...

Class A Baseball in Wisconsin 05/17/2012 Our Milwaukee Brewers are beloved here in Wisconsin, but we also have an affinity for the Class ‘A’ clubs – namely the Appleton Timber Rattlers (the Class A affiliate of the Brewers) and the Beloit Snappers (the Class A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins).  Their games are not only a...

Wisconsin B&Bs Call for a Vote – Doilies or No Doilies 05/10/2012   We’ve been on a mission lately to dispel misconceptions about B&B travel, and that includes the myth that all inns are old or old-fashioned.  To that end, we bring you “Doily Decision 2012.”  Cast your vote – pro-doily (perfectly apropos for those who favor sophisticated, historically significant inns) or...
