Wissahickon Farms Country Inn

Welcome to our "Rustic Country Cabin with a Touch of Class" in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
Your own "Private Getaway", great for honeymoons, anniversaries or just escaping into your own private world. Tucked into the woods of a 30-acre hobby farm outside St. Croix Falls is a one-room Rustic Cabin the Ingalls family would have loved on the prairie. Built as a replica of an old country store, it was moved to the site by its current owners, they live a few hundred feet away, who updated it as the Wissahickon Farms Country Inn.

Modern touches of this Private Cabin include a two-person whirlpool tub and a kitchenette. A gas fireplace casts a glow on the barn-plank floor and rough whitewashed walls. Antique furnishings and store wares fill the room: farm toys, Burma shave toiletries, books and even an old Remington cash register. Braided rugs, rockers and the cast iron camel-back canopy bed topped with a handmade patchwork quilt make the place downright cozy, and perfect for a St Croix Falls Romantic Getaway.

Kick your feet up on the front porch and enjoy the peace on your Scenic Getaway. Or hit the great nearby routes on one of the available bikes.
This beautiful Rustic Cabin has plenty of room for up to four guests. Read a book on the front porch, soak in the two-person whirlpool tub and then fall asleep in the queen canopy bed. A delicious continental breakfast will be ready for you in the morning. Eco-friendly accommodations use geothermal heating and cooling, plus a cozy fireplace.

Slow Food Movement is a Natural for Wisconsin B&Bs 08.09.2010
The Slow Food philosophy is a good, clean and fair food – it should taste good and celebrate culture and regional diversity; it should be produced in a clean way that is as good for the planet as it is for our bodies; and food producers should receive fair compensation for their work. So [...]
