Devil's Lake State Park - Upland Loop/Loop Steinke Basin
Bicycles are only allowed on the Uplands Loop and a connector trail which provides about 8 total miles of bike trail. The Loop Steinke Basin section of the trail offers some medium effort sections but cyclists will soon find themselves climbing over 200 feet to ride the fairly challenging top of the Uplands. Dirt Tracks, loose rock, ruts and embedded boulders create potential hazards on some sections of the trail. Cyclists also need to be mindful of hikers and their pets who often use this trail as well.
