What were you doing 30 years ago?

It's 1984 ...new Innkeeper Wendy J. Porterfield is opening the doors to the first guests at the Washington House Inn located in historic Cedarburg Wisconsin.  WHI is celebrating their 30th Anniversary on September 14th with an open house from 3-5 PM - and you're invited! Wendy says: "Anyone attending will receive our new hot off the presses 30th Anniversary cookbook and here is a preview of a bit of the Inn's history ." Guests can choose from 2 styles of lux accommodations: rustic French Country rooms with exposed stone walls & beams, plank wood floors, and fireplaces, or the more polished Victorian rooms dressed with fine antiques, brass and marble fixtures and whirlpools ... 35 rooms total.  Evening Wine & Cheese features Cedarburg wines & Wisconsin cheeses, and it's just a 3-block walk to the Cedar Creek Settlement for fine dining & gallery shopping.  And in the morning, savor the creativity of the inn's 3 bakers at the bountiful breakfast.  Happy Anniversary to WHI from WBBA!
