  • Celebration of Lights

Oshkosh, WI - Eastern Waters & Door County

Each year over 13,500 cars, packed with families and friends, drive through beautiful Menominee Park in Oshkosh to experience the magic of lighted exhibits and holiday fun. Enjoy all of this year’s amazing displays, including a 100-foot tree, sculptured scenes, animated lighted displays, Santa’s Workshop and twinkling beauty. Oshkosh COL supports our local community by collecting food every evening we are open. This effort is so much more than the three-quarters of a million lights spread over a 1.2-mile route through beautiful Menominee Park. Since 2001, attendees to the annual holiday event have donated close to 118 tons of non-perishable food, which has been donated to local pantries to feed those in need here, in the Oshkosh area. Visitors receive $1.00 off of the normal admission cost by donating an in date non-perishable food item.

  • Westby's International Ski Jump

    Submitted by: Westby House Inn
    Westby, WI - Southwest

It is a tradition that has gone on since 1923, and has put Westby on the international ski jump map. I think it has given Westby some recognition and identity, said Dr. P.T. Bland, who has been a major supporter of the annual event for more than three decades. Skiers come from 10-15 countries. Since the event has been a Continental Cup competition, we get skiers who are just one notch away from World Cup status and possible Olympians. We have Olympic medal winners jump here. Located just 1/2 mile North of Westby on County Road P. Visit www.snowflakeskiclub.com for more information.
