The Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association offers various forms of conferences & learning throughout the year. The MWInns Annual Conference & Innkeeper Trade Show features educational seminars focusing on economical and effective B&B/Inn business. Things like food, amenities, and service are what put the "Wow!" in the guest experience. Attendees join in to learn, network, and speak with industry experts and vendors that have products and services designed for B&Bs and hospitality.  

Our world of hospitality is changing rapidly. The conference is also a time to keep up-to-date on technology, trends, tips and topics you need to know.  National, regional, and state experts are brought together for general sessions or breakout learning and sharing sessions. Learning from other innkeepers, those that best know the issues and opportunities, is prioritized as it is found very valuable to dive into detail and network. 

Although learning, networking, and vendor shopping for our Inns is important in our conference, we also know how to have fun.  Innkeepers need a break too so dinner, entertainment, and some lively discussion is all part of our conference time.

For those that aspire to become innkeepers, you can explore the feasibility of joining the B&B business through the MWInns' Aspiring Innkeeper Seminar. Once to twice yearly, a team of experienced innkeepers that represent a variety of inns around the Midwest and industry experts give attendees the opportunity to learn all about the business. Topics covered include: purchasing a B&B, licensing, developing a business plan, insurance, marketing, location, room pricing, and much more. Additional resources are available during our seminars and by becoming an Aspiring Innkeeper Member.
